About QWFC

Quality Welsh Food Certification Ltd (QWFC) was established in 2003 by cooperatives in Wales to operate as a Certification Body for Schemes that aim to deliver quality in farm and food production.

Quality Welsh Food Certification Ltd, is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to ISO17065 General Requirements for Bodies Operating Product Certification Systems (UKASCertificate0146) for the Certification of Farm Sector Assurance Schemes & is recognised by DEFRA as an Organic Control Body (GB-ORG-13)

We offer Certification for the following Schemes:

We provide a service dedicated to Welsh farms, Welsh farmers, and Welsh Food Processors, focusing on their needs and requirements.

We are bilingual & also offer the opportunity, wherever possible, to combine Assessments where Producers require Certification for more than one of the Schemes we provide Certification for.

Our Schemes

QWFC Ltd can provide Certification for the Farm Assured Welsh Livestock (FAWL) Scheme, The Welsh Organic Scheme, The Welsh Government Quarantine Unit Scheme and the Red Tractor Farm Assurance Dairy Scheme through your Milk Purchaser. Farm Records

The Farm Records and Animal Health plan facility is available to all producers in the WLBP lamb, beef (FAWL) scheme, dairy schemes and the Welsh Organic scheme.
