About QWFC
Quality Welsh Food Certification Ltd (QWFC) is a company established by cooperatives in Wales to operate as a certification body for schemes that aim to deliver quality in farm and food production. QWFC is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to EU standards ISO17065 (General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems) and assess participants in quality schemes for compliance with operating standards.
QWFC Ltd certifies members of the Farm Assured Welsh Livestock (FAWL) Scheme, the Welsh Organic Scheme and the Red Tractor Farm Assurance Dairy Scheme.
